The Emma Harris Trio are a highly acclaimed Jazz outfit and are gaining recognition on the UK Jazz scene for their fresh soulful renditions of Jazz Standards.
Their style is both funky and smooth and their sound is driven by the everpresent groove of Adrian Smith on double bass.
Dave King's swinging piano melodies provide the perfect accompaniment for Emma's Soulful voice. Emma's vocals are raw and passionate yet silky smooth and always captivating.
Their repertoire includes a diverse mix of songs from the sultry, smokey blues of Sarah Vaughn's 'Black Coffee' to the high speed swing of Ellington's 'Take the A Train'.
From the Soulful, Gospel tones of God 'Bless The Child' and Mike Garrick's 'Webster's Mood' to the tongue twisting 'Twisted'
The Emma Harris Trio sometimes expands to become a Quartet or a Quintet depending on the venue.
The Trio often features some of the Southwest's most talented jazz musicians. With the addition of Drums and Sax or Trumpet, the band can fill any space.
